Hans Jakob Schindler is the Senior Director of the Counter Extremism Project (CEP), as well as the Auschwitz Center on Hate, Extremism and Radicalization (ARCHER), and is a member of the advisory board on Islamism prevention and combating Islamism of the Interior Ministry of Germany. He also sits on the advisory boards of a range of multilateral organizations. He previously served as the Coordinator of the UN Security Council’s ISIL, Al-Qaida and Taliban Monitoring Team, and in various positions in German’s security establishment.
