Submission Guidelines
Content
- Content should pertain to more recent events of the past 5-10 years, and should follow the same content guidelines as listed above for print submissions (i.e. should pertain to comparative politics, foreign policy, or international affairs, broadly construed).
- All citations should be provided in the Chicago style, with running footnotes and a separate bibliography listing all pieces cited.
- If appropriate, one or more legally usable images, maps, or figures should be attached to all submissions. Legally usable media includes all media in the public domain, available under a Creative Commons license, or includable as fair use.
Format
- Print submissions should run at an approximate maximum of 15 double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman, regular margin pages (not including bibliography), though this limit is flexible and dependent on the volume of pieces received for any particular journal.
- All citations should be provided in the Chicago style, with running footnotes and a separate bibliography listing all pieces cited. An online version of the Chicago Manual of Style can be found here.
- Word Documents (.doc/.docx) are strongly preferred.
